dear diary,<br/><br/>WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<br/>finch is mad at me now. well, it was kind of already mad at me for hiding the whole rubarb thing i guess....<br/><br/>i followed a map and ritually sacrificed a glow inc sac and now i can breathe underwater.<br/><br/> a bit jarring considering my home planet didn't even have this stuff! apparently my soul's wet. maybe that's why i didn't want to stay there. who knows!<br/><br/>anyway, finch is mad at me for this new thing and also there are these terrible storms now. they make it hard to fly.<br/><br/>honestly reminds me of the ship crash a little too much. i think i'll hold off on the trident for now :(<br/><br/>OH YEAH in better news i can breathe and see underwater now. very cool!<br/><br/>anyway i love you diary goodnight

dear diary.<br/><br/>i'm worried about finch. he says he hasn't been sleeping--he didn't have to say it really, even i can tell it from his face--and he's been... dying. mysteriously. a lot.<br/><br/>he says he's been having bad dreams. why is he so afraid to go to sleep? he won't let me help him other than going to fetch copper, which i'm happy to do but i doubt it'll fix anything. i need him to let me make things better. i need to help him. i need to make it okay.<br/><br/>i've started rebuilding the ship. i want to start living in it again. maybe i can salvage parts to scan this world and see what's going on. and if not... well, it's pretty far from spawn. if things get worse, it would be a good place to lie low. or get away.<br/><br/>i don't want to leave without my friends. i haven't had anything like this before and i can't lose it. but if i can convince them to come with me, get away from all this, then maybe... maybe we can all be happy somewhere else.<br/><br/>thank you diary. keep my secrets well.

finch is dead. his body has been taken by an entity called the crimson queen. here's what we know:<br/>
-CQ has access to finch's memories<br/>
-CQ has the ability to access and record others' memories, as she did with owl<br/>
-CQ is a bitch<br/>
-CQ is "watching us" and will probably read this at some point<br/>
-finch still exists, and he's trying to reach out. so far he's contacted owl and rhubarb, but quickly been pulled away somehow.<br/><br/>
we need to save him. we have to fix this.<br/>
