Jelly is a jellyfish alien who crash landed on the Birdhouse planet. It is currently living as Illura's tenant in a cherry wood house just outside of spawn.

== Personality ==
Jelly is a curious entity, and very susceptible to peer pressure. It doesn't always know when to take things seriously. It's very interested in humanoid behavior, and will observe or do things just to see how others will react. Jelly's 24 eyes are very simple, and aren't very good at distinguishing much more than dark and light; because of this, they need a spyglass to see things even at short distances, and cannot read signs without glow ink, which they will provide for themself if necessary.

== Appearance ==
Jelly is a sentient jellyfish, its body resembling that of a box jellyfish with far more tentacles. Their small, simple eyes just look like white spots scattered around their bell. They have a bioluminescent pattern resembling a moon jellyfish on the top of their bell, but it is covered up by their kelp wig. Jelly makes itself look more humanoid by wearing a short messy kelp wig and a pair of glasses that are taped to its head. It sometimes draws simple, cartoonish eyes on the lenses to convey emotion or just to simulate eye contact. It usually wears a denim vest, a t-shirt, and dark jeans.

== History ==
==== Backstory ====
Jelly is from a far off gas planet. They were bored of the simple live of a Cnidarian, so they got on a spaceship and flew out to seek out more interesting places. They were alone in space for a long time before finally crashing on the Birdhouse planet and making a life for themself there.

====In the Server====
On the server launch day, [[Characters:Illura| Illura]] built Jelly a house near his own house in the cherry biome above the spawn valley. This made her their landlord, and in return they let him store a mysterious chest in their house.

When skulk spread into the ice chest at spawn, Jelly was the first to drink the water from it, and [[Characters:Alphys| Alphys]] followed suit.

[[Characters:Rhubarb| Rhubarb]] allowed Jelly and Eve to break into his secret room before anyone else, and threatened them both into secrecy.

Jelly followed a mysterious map found in its mailbox to Squidbeak's Spire and sacrificed a glow ink sac, granting them Squidbeak's Blessing and causing a severe storm.

== Abilities ==

Jelly is a jellyfish alien who crash landed on the Birdhouse planet. It is currently living as Illura's tenant in a cherry wood house just outside of spawn.

Jelly is a curious entity, and very susceptible to peer pressure. It doesn't always know when to take things seriously. It's very interested in humanoid behavior, and will observe or do things just to see how others will react. Jelly's 24 eyes are very simple, and aren't very good at distinguishing much more than dark and light; because of this, they need a spyglass to see things even at short distances, and cannot read signs without glow ink, which they will provide for themself if necessary.

When skulk spread into the ice chest at spawn, Jelly was the first to drink the water from it, and [[Characters:Alphys| Alphys]] followed suit.

[[Characters:Rhubarb| Rhubarb]] allowed Jelly and Eve to break into his secret room before anyone else, and threatened them both into secrecy.

Jelly followed a mysterious map found in its mailbox to Squidbeak's Spire and sacrificed a glow ink sac, granting them Squidbeak's Blessing and causing a severe storm.
